Jiar Lin Loh BN AdvDipNurs
Lin qualified as a Registered Nurse in 2015 and holds a Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Sydney, as well as an Advanced Diploma in Nursing from Singapore. She has extensive nursing experience as a senior Registered Nurse in Singapore, where she worked in a Surgical High Dependency Unit and cared for patients post ENT surgeries. Her most recent role is at Te Nikau Hospital in Greymouth, where she provides nursing care in a multidisciplinary general ward.
Lin has chosen to specialise in ear microsuction, a role that also offers greater flexibility to spend time with her two young children. She enjoys applying her precision-based surgical nursing skills to deliver gentle and effective ear microsuction care. Having personally experienced earwax buildup and undergone ear microsuction herself, she understands the benefits of maintaining good ear health from both a clinical and patient perspective.
Lin is a member of New Zealand Ear Nurse Specialist Group. She is fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese, and conversational in Malay and Cantonese.
Brandon Chia MClinRes BSc(Hons) PGCertNurs
Brandon provides ear care services during after-hours and on weekends. He brings extensive nursing experience across surgical critical care, stroke & vascular surgery. At Christchurch Hospital, he has worked as a Nurse Educator and is currently a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Vascular Access and Infection Prevention.
Passionate about lifelong learning, Brandon is committed to applying evidence-based practice to deliver high-quality care. He holds postgraduate qualifications in clinical research from the University of Manchester (UK) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Nursing from Massey University (NZ).
Brandon understands that ear procedures can sometimes feel unfamiliar or cause anxiety. He takes the time to listen to each patient’s concerns, explain the procedure clearly, and ensure they feel comfortable throughout their appointment.
Brandon is fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese.
